@staz - Thanks for those OUTDOOR images taken in the 2nd page (my request). Since you also HAD the S700i model mate, would you say that this W550 and S700i delivers the same 'sharpness' when it comes to quality of the photos taken (with the handset)

Personally, basing on the ones seen uploaded here . . . I don't think so! The S700i model still OUTBEST this 550i ! Also, I saw a member post a Disney image taken outdoors having a date stamp on the pic, does this model have that feature mate, same as with taht of the K750i etc.

@staz - I still find the S700 more SHARP when taking images

despite both (550i) havin' a - 1.3 MP cam . . .

I have to say that the S700i's pictures are a little sharper, especially in low light conditions. Here's a couple more of my pics:
An nice, crisp winter's late afternoon at work, sun just setting:
The tree branches seem slightly out of focus, just spoils the picture a bit unfortunately! Don't think it was even windy
This one was taken in low, artificial light after I'd updated my W550i's firmware. Still quite grainy, but an improvement I think:
And finally a comparison, the first picture here was taken with my W550i whilst sat in the back of my GF's car (no comments please, she was driving!), with night mode on. The second picture is identical, except taken with a Nokia 7600, which has the best performing night mode I've seen in a cameraphone so far! Although it's picture is rather 'bitty' rather than noisy.
W550i (pre-firmware update, night mode):

@sammy - Yeah . . . the first image resembles the ones which can be found in Christmas postcards . . . the image inside with the sofa looks like twas taken from a K700i mate

Honestly, I am not quite impressed with the 1.3 MP cam it has on this 550i model (IMHO) . . .

All below just taken. You can get really good pictures just a matter of playing with the settings.
My laptop
A few figures from my collection
A steady hand also helps (which I dont have)
