When you download themes.. choose save as, then change name so it ends on nameexample.utz

when i try to download the themes in the above link, they are saved as .zip files and only contain images if unzipped.

It's so easy. First show extensions files by Folder Settings on Windows. Next after downloaded the theme, rename theme.zip to theme.utz, not theme.zip.utz but theme.utz only. That's all. More questions contact me via PM

skrutett, put the theme in any folder e.g. others in your memory card. Once you do that simply browse to that folder using file manager and click on the theme file, and when the preview opens click 'install' to install the theme.

If you mean the 4 when you open the flip, I don't think you can.

yeah the 4 icons that you see in the activity bar in FO mode.

But some users posted showing themes with icons changed too i saw it on some sites. I was wandering if i could do so and the mac os X theme with mac icons would look nice

are you sure the posts you've seen weren't the M600 ??
i beleive (someone correct me if i'm wrong) that the M600 activity bar icons can be edited, but unfortunately this is not the case for the P990.
