Tru, they fail to see what america is doing to the islamic world by bombing them daily and killing innocent lives. The media bemuses and fools them and the public fall to the lies.

putting it blunt.
If an Islamic country made fun of the western religion, it wouldn't be tolerated. But when millions of people show that they are taking offence, it's argued that they dont have the right to react to what they believe is an insult.
Then there are people who say, it's their country they are free to do what they want. When an Arabic country does what it wants within it's borders, the US has to come and interfere and 'liberate' them.
You see, western countries argue that they what their ideology to rein supreme, when thats not the way things go.
People can complain and debate this issue as much as they want, but at the end of the day, it's obvious that millions are angry at this and it's obvious that the drawing of the prophet is a taboo, so why do it?
I can tell you this, if I had the power in my hands to make a whole community angry or to leave it alone. I WOULD choose the latter.
@Uncle Bob,
as a famous British comedian once said, "you never see good news on tv, otherwise it wouldn't be news, when was the last time you were watching a show and it cut of >>THIS IS BREAKING NEWS>END TRANSMISSION_________________

No man.... u know its wrong.... u know we are like this... so why do it?? why do something that can cause massacre... its simple as that... freedom of expression is one thing, however theres also this thing called repecting and u know Islam is very sensitive regarding our religion.. so dont to it.. why do these people play with fire, when they know its going to hurt.

I think that Western religions have been lampooned quite a bit in the past, but there hasn't been the reaction that there has been to these cartoons.
I sometimes feel there are double standards at work at times - not that I'm trying to excuse these cartoons, as I said before, it's taking freedom of speech too far, and seems unprovoked too.
If you excuse my brief venture into talking theoretically and consipiracy theories, you could argue that radical islamists had something to do with those cartoons - as it would whip the Muslim world up into a frenzy, create more sympathy for their radical cause and turn more 'moderate' muslims into extremists and West-haters.
Those cartoons and the surrounding row imho have done a lot more damage to West-Muslim relations than you might think. It still seems to me though that some are making a mountain out of a molehill. I know they're insulting - but seeing all those pictures of burning embassies and (an admittedly small number, but the ones that get all the press attention) protestors in London vowing revenge and death, and one dressing up as a suicide bomber reinforces many people's already skewed views of a peaceful religion.

To me it sounds like your saying muslims are special and non-muslims arn't ( u know Islam is very sensitive regarding our religion.. ) I'm sure everyone no matter what religion they are beleaves there religion is "very sensitive".
I cant help but feel the media have played a huge part in blowing this up. I'm sure there are worse things happing that need headlining rather than some petty cartoon.
