Yeah looks like a direct competitor of the Moto Q, Nokia E61 and the Blackberry 7100's

Fine, fine phone... though, for me, the controls... um... aren't comfortable, softly speaking. Reminds me of old Sony phones ^_^
And... um... Symbian UIQ without a normal joystick?! I'm not speaking of touchscreen, but at least it should have a joystick and some control keys...
Great design, though, to watch on.

a nice phone phone, good to increase SE line. an extra symbian phone aimed at the business markt means more companies will develop more apps and alot faster.
SE won't expect hudge sales, but probably some loyal custumors.
biggest lack is WIFI.
the reason why there is no cam for umts is because you can also use that cam to take spyshots or to pass secret info to outsiders.

M610 will probably features wifi, maby upgraded umts, and hopefully build in gps, but that will be for next year.

You ever tried a P-series phone, or any other UIQ phone?

aaaaaaaaaaarghhh so anoyed i think this is stunning.

and as a teeager it has the cool factor, however no camera is a bit disapointing but understandable for business users and to keep it slim.

However to not have wifi is VERY DISSAPOINTING, business users need wifi and i need it for school and just at home.

it seems they have tried to take the ipod or motorola razr route however they really have compromised function here, its a shame they couldnt get the balance right.

i guess i will be taking the p990 around as my new brick as it WILL HAVE WIFI AND A CAMERA

SONY COULD HAVE SUCCESS DUE TO DESIGN, OR A FLOP DUE TO NO CAMERA OR WIFI.

I think WiFi would be important if the target market was the USA as in Europe we have a very quickly developing 3G network and at least in the UK WiFi is not free. I think for business users the form factor, battery life and relaibility are key - I think the M600 will probably hit 2 out off these three.

The killer feature, besides email, will be the web browser for the next generation of Smartphones. Again being a business user I have noticed this capability of mobile devices is becoming more and more important as screen resolutions and rendering speeds improve.
