i've been using this phone for three days now and can confirm it does creak like the k750, but i would have to say that on a scale of 1 to 10 ( the k750 creak being 10) it is about 2. It really is minimal and seeing as this is what made me sell my K750 in the end, i can say it is hardly noticable.

i'm also thrilled by the features of this phone... in fact, i'm considering to upgrade to this one in the future if feasible, but here's a follow-up question? is the back of the phone as sturdy as the back of the S700? mine doesn't creak; it's rock-solid... since we know the K750 creaks most of the time, does the W810 comes close to the S700 when it comes to creakiness?

I'ved been using W810i for a month now and the silver coating in the 5-navigational button is starting to wear-off. I can clearly see some orange light passing through.

Yeah, I use Cingular so the K750 and W800 haven't been an option for me. My gf has a K700i and without 850 she gets spotty reception. I have a W810i now and it gets great reception, but even so, I get oodles of dropped calls. Not sure what the problem is, but other people have the same problem over on howardforums. Anybody here having these problems?

Other than this HUGE problem I absolutely LOVE this phone though. I've used lots of SE phones(T68, T616, P900, P910a, K700i, S710a) and this is by far my favorite! The P-series is in a different league though so you can't really compare them.

Got any pics to detail the damage?
