Got these for the K750 and love them omg.

They give great sound.

Everything except fast fowarding/rewinding works in the walkman w00t
In the radio; only the start stop function and volume work but as they are not officialy suported for the K750 ; I aint complaining

The HPM-80 dont support the K750 afaik (and im pretty sure) but the 80 has a display and radio built in. HPM-82 uses the built in radio function of these devices and has buttons to change the song without the display.

Hi adnhk1,

Did you test some HPM-82 on your P990i?
I would like to know if this phone works to control the fm radio stations and volume.
Thanks!

How do you stop music. On M600i it only seems to play or pause music.

Hold the play/pause down for a few seconds and it will stop. short press will toggle play / pause. long press will switch radio/walkman/off. iirc

Hi glm_sorwar,
Yes, the HPM-82 does work with the P990i (I also have the latest firmware), including the remote functions. I purchased mine from www.play.com and these are supplied without instructions. However, I made the following observations when used with the P990i:-

1. Switching from mp3's to radio:- press and hold centre button of the remote, the mp3 will pause and radio comes on. However, this will not work if the keylock has been activated. So if you intend to switch between mp3/radio and back & forth, remember not to activiate the keylock slider.

2. Switching from radio to mp3's:- press and hold centre key until radio sound is muted. You have now been returned to the P990i main menu. Press the centre button and release quickly, this takes you back to the mp3 player - in paused mode. Press and release the centre remote key quickly again and mp3 playback resumes. So in short; one long press and two quick pressess to go from radio to mp3.

3. Volume works fine on both radio and music player.

4. Prev/Next buttons on the remote will select Prev/Next track in music player and Prev/Next station preset on FM radio.

Once you get the hang of switching between the radio/music player, you'll find the HPM-82 is a great accessory. I can't comment on the sound quality of the HPM-70 (as I've never owned a set), but the sound quality of the HPM-82 is very good.

I use the supplied earbuds when I'm outside, but when I'm around the house, I connect a set of Sony MDR-XD200 headphones to the jack on the HPM-82, it gives a very nice sound.

I'd definitely get a set, there are some good offers around at the moment:-

Good luck!
