I have tried by sending sms. But its not activated. When I called cc, they are saying that I must have Rs.2000/- balance. Now I have 1,300/- balance. It will be my foolishness if I again recharge Rs.700/- just for activating bsnl's crap gprs.

In TAMILNadu gprs request via sms is done by sending GPRSE to 333 . Then in a few seconds i got a msg sayin my request is registered . I did this today.

let me tell u a small secret, i got portal activated in such a way that whatever downloads i do from their site (ranging from Rs.10 to Rs.150) i get all those as free and those chaps don't charge a single penny!!!!

I would have appreciated you, if u had shared that "small secret". This is a forum where we share & dont keep anything secret. So please reveal that secret here....

(network services r also not so good either)
AND ICING ON THE CAKE IS
prepaid customers r further less attended/provided servicing than the postpaid customers !!!!
