Another way of starting the camera without sliding the cover or going to cyber-shot in the menu is when you have your k800 on standby, press the camera button right down and the camera automatically starts

Since my CDS-60 desk stand did not come with the clear plastic support, I found that works well is to place a standard AA battery in the slot the plastic guide is supposed to be. Dock your phone and notice the AA battery acts as the support guide and holds my K800 phone steadily -- takes the stress away from the fastport prongs due to weight of the k800.

Well if u hit video call and then switch the front camera picture so that its displayed in the large window and then make a video call and then press more and press 'save picture' you should save the image in the larger window? hopefully..lol

can you paste in applications?

YES! Everywhere where there is a text input. Some weird java apps that handle their own input, like many games, may not have the copy/paste function though, but anytime when there is a "normal" text entry, you can use the three functions copy all / mark and copy / paste (Oe whatever they are called in english)

Id have to minimise the app and then go to smses to copy and paste right?

Yes, if you already have started writing the sms. Otherewise, you can do the copy stuff in advance, before you start writing the sms. The copy buffer remains until you turn the phone off or copy something else. I miss the possibility to copy the contents of a plain web page though.

This works on all Ericsson and SonyEricsson phones

> press the joystick to the right
* press '*' button
* press the '*' key
* press the '*'

Don't bother about what menus are displayed during the sequence, and don't wait for them to display on slow phone models, just go on with the entire sequence.

On older Ericsson phones, there was no joystick. Those had two buttons, one labelled YES and one labelled NO. The YES key was the one to the left. On those phones, the code was the same as above:
right-star-left-left-star-left-star
