so many problems:
1.Reboots to say it will run more efficiently.
2.Bluetooth switches itself off some days so will not auto connect in car.
3.Sync. does not always work - does not seem to recognise changes in certain fields ie. if slight mod. to phone numbers and gives message in sync prog. "Error in contacts".
4.Also on outlook 2003 does not change pictures on pc but does on P990.
5.With flip closed retrieve a contact - open flip and whole phone completely locks. closing flip restores after 2 mins!!
6. Whole phone terribly slow.
7. Operating system backward step to P910.
8.LOoading pictures from (1 meg) mem stic painful. Not that many pictures on stick.

Incidentally have upgraded firmware to very latest - 29/8/2006 and running latest sync software.

Just a few of problems encountered in last 10 days.

Battery life - jury is currently out!!

Currently what a disaster of as phone - do not believe it should have been realeased as such.

Hi all, it would be really useful if those of you with the P990 could report problems here as the other P990 thread covers too much.
many thanks

@briandee

#3 - no problems with Sync here, use BT sync all the time

#6 - no slowness either, but I have switched off hand writting recognition as I don't use it. Have you see Opera running under 3G or wifi, it is quicker than most other Smartphone I have seen

All these bugs are putting me off now, but am still convinced that they will be sorted with the new firmware!
