space2, could you post some howto about converting flv to video?
i've wanted to convert happy tree friends flv video to mp4, but couldn't do it with windows tools and don't know how to do that in linux (though it doesn't mean i'm not familiar and experienced with linux)

First I had to convert the flv to avi:
mencoder -oac lavc -ovc lavc -lavcopts acodec=aac -o outputfile.avi inputfile.flv
Then it should work with anu avi converter. I still don't understand why I couldnt do it directly with the script... I might try to investigate it a bit fuirther, until then here is my script:
www.saxoft.com/misc/avi2mp4.sh
The script is designed for splitting, hence it will also add some numbers at the end of the movie. It's also not very intelligent

Here is an example (suppose the input file is input.avi):
sh avi2mp4.sh -vbr 80 -abr 24 -176 -fps 15 -bsize 900 -count 6 -o output input.avi
-vbr = videobitrate
-abr = audio bitrate
-176 = scale to 176x132 resolution
-fps = fps
-bsize = length of each part in seconds (=15min)
-count = number of parts (for safety you could specify bigger values, like 10, even if the movie is shorter)
-o = basename of outputfile
The result will be several files: output_0.mp4, output_1.mp4, ...
You need mplayer with ffmpeg and aac compiled in, and mpeg4ip
about LOST: if somebody would post an episode here, this thread would be closed soon...

the rtsp protocol uses port 554, tried opening it but no luck, so i have no clue what is wrong. it might also be the alternative port or something else that is not open
I've had the same problem with Realplayer on my N80 since I bought the phone in May- however inspired by Ares success I decided to tinker with it again. This time I enabled port 554 under *port triggering* instead of forwarding on my router and Eureka!

Is there another way of getting youtube-videos? I want them in 320x240 like the screen of the phone.

I couldn't got it to work either by just port forwarding.
And I don't think I have the port triggering-mode on my belkin-router.. strange. I hade to use DMZ and are now letting the phone to be totaly outside the NAT firewall. Then it works! Jippie... But iritating that I need to do it like this..
Hm...
