Where do people come up with these rediculous conspiracy theories. Of course it will be a full GSM/GPRS/3G phone. Wife would make it a great addition. Why not the same post about SE or Nokia putting wifi in their phones?

Surely then the Sony Mylo would wipe the floor with any VOIP device with price controls?

It appears Apple have not yet delivered an iPhone type device but have moved closer to computer-less downloads with the iTV.

I think Wi-max would make the best link between iPod and iStore but the infrastructure is still some way off.

sorry for not reading the whole thread, but i just want to give out my opinion on this...

i USED to prefer a cellphone with EVERYTHING on it, like a camera/music player in it. but eventually, just this recently, i switched to having a cellphone + a music player. why? because of BATTERY ISSUES... i found it charging my phone EVERYDAY to be too much of a hassle...

Do you sleep at night? Is this too much of a hassle? Your post up to the point of not being bothered made sense. After that it tanked and borders on ridiculous.

iPod sound quality is much better than the w series phones (or w800 that is the one tha I had) and how can you compare a cellphone that lets you have 2gb of music against the 30 to 80 gb that iPod offers and when the bigger capacity memory sticks come out, their price will be so high that nobody will buy them.

and some people said that 30 gb or more music sotrage devices would be just for music nerds....see iPod sales and eat your words.

Cellphones for talking, cams for pictures, iPods for music and VIDEOS

Ipod for Videos?? I would not dare watch a whole movie in that tiny screen. That would put so much strain in anyone's eyes.

SE Walkman phones are good as an mp3 player for short trips. Good enough for video clips as well. Battery life is an issue indeed. It's ok to charge every night. I wouldn't mind doing it at all. But what i don't like is, not being able to use my phone in the middle of the day because i used to listen to mp3s and watch videos for hours.

SE Walkman Phones have their market. Ipod have theirs as well.
