Actually they're ok. But only if my phone comes in the 3-4 days they said at the price they've said, we'll see. Dreading a customer rep calling to say 'sorry, theres been a mistake'. tbh, the p990s not even my kinda phone.

Basically at the mention of vf direct she changed her tune and suddenly they were out of stock. I'm not going to rant. But I don't like being lied to.
She could've said they're not allowed to open the boxes or something.
Train your staff to be honest, because you nearly lost custom. @ vodafone
Thankfully the people on the other end of their customer services number are a little more honest.

Well if the womans not gonna get a sale out of you why should she waste her time and effort letting you look at it? ok she shouldn't have lied to you but you weren't gonna buy one.

Popped into my local Voda store this afternoon (Camberley) and they had stock. From what I saw it was completely unbranded. Apparently branded and Live!'d up stock will not be available for at least a few weeks so at the moment they are all generic models without branding. There was also of course no exterior branding either.
I think it is probably safe to assume if current stock is generic unbranded versions that they will very likely be unlocked too.
Annoyed I didn't get an order in on the Voda website when they were doing them free on the £20/12 month plan - in fact I think I would have taken a few at that price.
