I tried without the sim, but not without the MS. TBH, it's all packaged up to go back now, and another one's on its way - should arrive in the morning.
Anyone know if I'll be able to restore a backup I made from the old phone onto the new one, or does it need to match IMEIs or whatever?

Just backed up mine done and upgrade (not a lot of difference) but when i restored everything back to me phone all was there exept the voice dialing, had to put it all back in ??????
One other thing that pi**is me off about the M600i is the clockits so small, i had a T610 (T630 screen) before and when it was in standby mode it had a clock on it and when you pressed one of the side buttons the clock would light up, i so wish this was on the M600i

Anyone notice a higer output volume with BT stereo headphones? My SE HBH-DS970 headset seems much louder with this latest firmware.

Don't install it if you need your BB software, the cirrent BB Connect will not work with the new FW.
I just worked this out the hard way, ah well at least I still have the trusty old BB 8700 for the time being till a BB solution gets out there.

Some thoughts on this new version...
1. I notice now that there is a 'close all tasks' option now. Was that there before ?
2. When browsing through contacts the screen automatically scrolls up and down when you hold pressure on top or bottom of the screen. Did it always do this ?
3. When you start an application for the first time it is a bit slow (as normal) but I now get a white block in the top section of the screen. Why ?
... still pondering some other things....
