For those with Flip off I figured out that the backspace/Del key mutes the ringer when you are getting a call (same as the C key on the flip).
Any other tips for Flip Off users?

I uses the QWERTY ketboard very much even though I have the flip on. When I write short messages so is it easier to use the T9 keyboard, but otherwise is it much easier to use the QWERTY keyboard. I don't use it less because of the flip. Definitely not

I took the flip off and I got really disabled. There's no easy way to turn the sound off without using the stylus.

When using the camera you can't zoom or adjust anyting without the stylus. How smooth is it to zoom with the stylus!?

Btw is there any way of using the alarm without using the stylus? You can't create a shortcut since there's no ordinary alarm menu. With flip closed you can't reach the alarm at all.

With the flip off I would like to be able to have my agenda for the day as a desktop background like windows mobile.

Fingers cross my P990i should be arriving in the next day or so. It'll be an upgrade from my P800 which I've been using for 4 years or so, all without the flip so I'm intending to do the same with the P990i. I never bothered with any sort of screen protector before but my P800 does have a few knicks on it so I was thinkiing of getting screen protectors for the new handset . . . I've just had a quick look around and there doesn't seem to be any official ones so I was wondering what everyone else was using???

I have it on that way it is like a normal phone and then when i want to use any applications i can just flip it open. Plus having the flip on offers a little more protection to the screen.

I have tried this and it doesn't work?
When pressing the DEL/Backspace key, nothing happens!
Any ideas?

I'm getting my 990 on Monday and I'll leave the flip on at first.

Have used my 910 in both configurations and undecided which is best.

If you had to twist my arm I'd say the flip will come off!

Is it normal that the screen gets transitorily white when the flip is opened / closed?
Thanks
