>If you can't buy it - it doesn't exist
I disagree. I always set my list of feature requests based on todays technology. Then i am checking whats on the market now and in ~1 year time. Based on that i am making decision what features i can have now and what features i can have in xxx month and how they will be last in term of new technology.
i.e.:
1.p800 has almost all features set by me but its 2 month away...
2.now i can get gadgets with 2-3 features less then p800 has
3.p800 will last 1 year with its advantages on the market (I 'll still feel that p800 is enough for me even new products will beat p800 in some fields (old || new 1))

So as u see its all about what features u realy need. For me Bluetooth ,battery life, camera, external Memory and size factor are important enough to wait.
Maybe meanwhile Nokia will anounce new Comunicator..(which had to be yesterday) but if it will not have same features (or better) and will not be delivered in same time as p800 i will not buy it.

I see you say the P800 is 2 months away. Are you sure.
Did Sony/Ericsson quote this for definite.
Maybe the SPV has a couple of things less than you
want, but you can have it now.
Who knows what phones will be available in 2 months.

I just wish manufacturers would treat us with a bit more respect and tell us exactly when products are coming out and mean it.

I hope, for you, and all the other people waiting for the P800 that it really comes out this time.

I'm going back to my t68 with added laser, torch, camera, radio and mp3 player. Yes I probably thought I needed all that at the time.

Well now i am sure as i got confirmation that only bundled cd is changing currently. But Anything might still happen. But my believe in p800 before xmas is strong and thats matter for me

Anyway its true that if i would know this(delay till xmas) in end of july
i would buy 7650 anyway ... so i will use till p800 will come out and then buy p800 and i will give 7650 to my girlfriend:)
But Cant do the same now.

Heh. Yes, XP is confirmed to have problems. For me, the XP-install hangs before it has even copied any files. All hardware is OK. Anyone saying it is perfectly stable is obviously clueless. Win2k is more stable but it is still terrible at many things.

Win2k (or XP for that matter) is NOT easy to use if you don't settle with the features that comes "out of the box." Many parts of it are essentially undocumented unless you buy MS-books or subscribe to whatever support-services they might have.

Errors occur on win2k; many that NO ONE knows the reason for. Not even Microsoft. And that is the kind of quality you're looking at when MS comes into the question.

I have got a pre market Sony Ericsson P800, pre market means that I get no manual or bonus software.

Only had it 3 days so far, what I've found is that it's worth all the hype, looks great, no T9 required as you can write in PDA format. A bit big, slightly smaller than the 7650. But my battery life is extremely poor.
