I had the imate JasJar (aka qtek 9000) and yes, it was quite big and not good battery life. I ditched it in favour of the k-jam and subsequently now have the TyTN and can definitly recommend that, especially if you want wifi and a very usable slide out keyboard

Hi I heard someone on here mentioning a N73ME. I have both A k800I And a N73 and have to say bass on the N73 through original earphones is terrible and sounds like a cheap £24 mp3 player.
If I install this N73ME would it better the bass output let alone be comparable to the bass off a K800i?
Thread starter you should a consider a M600i over a w950i and add a 2gb memory card and remote HPM82 i think it would be tops. Although id say the n73 is nice as it has a lense. Depends wot ur after really the N73 is an allrounder while the m600i/W950i is distinctive but lacks a lense depends. But with a K800I though it as 'why compromise' phone but thats off topic.
Oh yes you will get at much better bass and clearer and richer sound if you change to N73 ME firmware. I dare say that you get just as strong bass as the megabass in your ordinary walkman phone! I owned one so i have compared. And of course you get a better bass on the N73ME than the K800i.
@Ranjith
the N73 may be slow with older firmwares. My N73 was never slow and with the N73ME firmware that i now have it´s not slow either. The speed of my phone is defenately comparable to the K800.

I got it from nokia uppdate service. You just hade to change the product code from N73 to N73ME. Be sure to find out the correct product code for your region(langage). You change product code in a program called NSS. And then you connect to nokias uppdate service as usual. Then the program finds "a newer firmware" and flashes your pphone with ME firmware. Nor sure tough if you have to change one more thing in the phone(unlock branding) if your phone is branded. But there is a program for that to.

taken from my earlier post about flashing your phone into a ME version-" And as i said earlier you might even get lucky if something happens to your phone and you have to fix it at nokia. As i have understood it, the worst thing that can happen (at least here in Sweden) is that you maybe have to pay a sum euros to get it fixed. I think a guy payed 50 euro to get his samsung fixed when he had bricked it. But some here in Sweden claim that nokia might fix(reflash) your phone for free and won´t bother themselves about you have changed the product code, maybe that is just goodwill from one´s local nokia repair man. Of course i can´t promise that nokia will fix your phone if you have changed the product code and bricked it! Officially i´m sure the warranty is voided when you fiddle whith product codes. I believe that there are about the same risk that the phone gets bricked when you do a ordinary flash than when you do a "special flash" to ME version. For me it was worth the risk since i now have a super musicplayer with heavy bass and rich sound and a good camera AND symbian!
