One tip is to not use JPG as wallpaper. It will slow down the phone a little bit. When you open an app and then go back to standby screen there is a little delay with JPG, but not with PNG. This is atleast what I have noticed on my phone with the latest f/w
And yes, I allways modify all of my Theme. Just so they will suit me and my phone. And 9 out of 10 times they do get a little bit quicker

I get no such delay with a JPG as wallpaper in my modified Amazonia (I've mailed it to you, check it out). Opening SMP using the icon and then pressing the back button gets me back instantly. It may depend on the compression level on the JPG. I use quality 100 (the least amount of compression), which gives me pixmaps just as good as PNG (except for gradients) but with about 1/3 to 2/3 of the file size.

the new vista theme is half the size of previous and the theme loads much faster...earlier,i had to reboot to get the effects of the theme to appear(the menu had white background so the text below the icons invisible as its also white..had to reboot to make the background appear black and the text to be visible...but not with this.And without those ringtones,it would have been more smaller file.
and Can u mail me your modified amazonia??
