If your firmware allows disabling transitions then Tweak Peaks can not add much more acceleration.
On the other hand, the coming new version of Tweak Peaks has configurable memory management services that may be quite useful, especially on phones that still tend to reboot "spontaneously" or otherwise behave badly due to lack of free memory.

The coming new version of Tweak Peaks contains a memory manager service which is mainly intended for UIQ3 phones that still behave badly. We are looking for
beta testers whose phone
- restarts when free memory is low
- restarts when there is an incoming call
- restarts randomly
- closes applications too frequently
- refuses to start applications
Beta test applicants please write Email to our support address. They will be accepted upon completing a brief questionnaire about their phone's behavior. Thanks!

Tweak Peaks
1.30 is released. The new version provides two unique services:
-
Speed boost by display acceleration and other performance enhancements.
- Novel ability to override the default
start page of the built-in internet browser (Web/Opera).
Changing the start page is available on phones with plat-sec disabled. The amount of achievable speed increase varies depending on phone model, firmware and settings. The trial is free, so it costs nothing to test if your phone's performance can be improved. Enjoy!
