mine cost me just under £600.... done a fair bit of welding though and bought a rear sub-frame yesterday
to be fair i'd say in total its gonna have cost me about £1000 (including the cost of the car) that includes the bits i need to finish off for the MOT.....
and fingers crossed i'll be on the mini rally from cystal palace to brighton at the end of the month

Another lil question dicky, how have you modded your enginee etc....
K&N air filter?
straight through exhust? etc... .
ive been told that if you do it right the 1Ltr can be almost as quick as the 1275 cooper engine and it dont coast a arm and a leg
got any views mate?

Dicky, i saw some one put a 1.8 Honda type R engine in a mini..... WTF!!!! would that literally take off? id be able to give my mate a run in his honda s2000 then hahahhaha!
Dicky, did you say you were going on the mini rally from crystal place to brighton? my car should just be finished before it lol...... gonna be chancing it me thinks lol (oh well, will have to sign up with the RAC or someone)
