i would suggest if you have a friend who has broadband to do the update there...it's quite risky to do it using dial-up unless you have tried it before...if you have a laptop then go to an internet cafe' and have it connected on their high-speed ntrnet...hope this help

just uninstall your SEUS then install that again. hope that will help you. and you should try with broadband connection. because while update the software download 60 to70 mb, so just determind how time it will takes with your dial up connection.

Thanks guys for all your replies... I've done FW update before using dial-up using the old update servce (2.6.11.7) software, it's just now i'm having problems installing this 2.7version. Will try to look for broadband access....

restart ur pc, connect to the internet, close any internet apps u may have running + temporarily disable ur firewall and try again. And keep in mind that, even if u should have success and start downloading the fw, it'll take ages with a dialup connection..

So far i have heard more ram @ start-up, faster surfing, SMP issues, same camera,... so +`s and -`s... Please someone tell us how is ram management. After opening lets say: my shortcuts, web/opera, sms, movie, music, game,..

Ur right gadgetboytom , the firmware update when i done first has the organizer R5A16 , again after 2 hours when i updated my phone it is R5A17 . mine GW1 , i have changed my CDA through KK.
