But they are targeted at certain markets in particular and they just had very successful launch of the N95 with the E90 due any time soon. Personally i am encouraged by a lot of the so far leaked developments and really hope SE announce some top end models especially smart phones. That are also class leading devices with specs to match, it is a very long time since the P990 was first announced and it's heading for a year old now. I am hoping SE announce devices that will start shipping Q3 or at the latest Q4 and once more excite me with a desire to own one.

As far as I know ONLY Motorola has announced Lower than expected profits, even a loss possibility - thats what happens when you RIDE OUT a trend to long ... keep banging a hottie and not let her ride for a while she'll get fat too

ATM, RIM the makers of BlackBerry are riding MIGHTY HIGH hi! No profit warnings here just skyrocketing. The biggest request from them was a spellchecker built in. 3rd party coder-houses saved the day for ALL devices, yet the announced 8300 yesterday will have it BUILT in with a learning db that we can ADD - this is not a limited memory boys & girls a FULL dictionary to check your typed email! This is a consumer device that is QUITE capable in the business world; and RIM are listening to their customers & business clientele.
Shoot even Nokia showed up SE with the E61 & E61i in design & power.
Man this really hurts because I really LOVED listening to music on the subway commute to work > I LOVE music its a part of my soul!, but I NEED Calendaring power WITHOUT needing to touch the screen. I so badly want the K790i because I know its a quality phone, however I surf the net & scheduling & email more than I make calls.
Give me a UIQ3.1 Phone with incredible & elegant design.
- Voice recording (calls & memo notes)
- Music (ACC, ACC+, MP3, Ogg ALL up to 386Kbps rate) Playback
- Video Playback ( 30fps on H.264 & Quicktime .Mov format - this is already support on the BB Pearl but not 30fps) resolution = QVGA
- Video Recording @ QVGA 30fps with Stereo Audio in ACC/MP3 format, screw AMR.
- 2MP Camera with LED Flash & Auto Focus MINIMUM! I'd prefer 3.2MP Camera.
- Stereo speakers I don't care the size but make them loud enough for music playback & for speakerphone.
+ Bring back sensor to detect when speakerphone mode is not needed because phone is brought to the face.
Streaming Video support over EDGE/3G/WiFi(80.11b/g/n) with Real Support & WMV not just real.
