@786 u mean, basically the same screen for w810 and k800, at least cyber shot fones would deserbve better screens imo
No no, the K800 has a new screen (Very Good screen) that is now used in the W850, the W810 had the same screen thats in the K750/W800 etc Click on the themes section and have a look at the themes that work on different phones. I f the themes work on another phone, that phone has the same screen.
Its relative to the size of the screens

But we have all agreed to some extent that what you say is true.
My question again is why is it the the colour is not as alive as other LCD wit hard screen protectors?? There is a big difference.
I actually believe its a normal high res LCD screen and no TFT in it. If that makes any sense.
that's like asking why the cmos cam in k790a is different then the cmos cam in the n73....

as far as I know, the only phone without such a layer of protection is the Nokia 6131. so it's not true to say that Nokia phones do not have the protective layer.

I see. does it have gaps at the side? does the picture distort when the screen is pressed?

How can you have a big screen on a smallish candybar phone?

I wouldn't call the K800i 'smallish', but the screen size in relation to the overall phone size is quite reasonable. it can be said that the phone does indeed have a big display.

there's a lot of wasted space on the K800 where the screen could have been. nokia 5700 is only 2mm longer than k800 but has a 2.2 inch screen with a good keypad.
the screen size doesnt do justice to the incredible camera and HTML browsing
