I'm also waiting for a W550i which I bought for a tenner which I'm hoping just needs the swivel re-attaching and screwing back in, which still hasn't arrived btw!

I know this is the k550 thread but i debranded my w610i yesterday(it was orangified!). It's great i've got the horizontal flash menus now and i can finally run apps in the background! Something that the orange firmware wouldn't let me do!
I use DavinciTeam and it was so simple! There also a news story on there about loading the w610 firmware onto a k550i! Someone should try it! You don't loose anything(apart from the cam not automatically starting when you open the lense cover) just gain walkman2.0!!

Finally got my K550i today!
First impressions - great looking phone, though I'm a bit dissapointed with the camera, though that could just be because I've been spoilt by the 3mp camera on the K800i!
The keypad isn't as bad as people have made out, and one thing I won't miss from the K8 is the damn camera shutter coming open all the time in my pocket, this one feels much more secure.
I like the phone, be interesting to see how I get on with it!

I wish i could join this forum b4 i bought my K550. yes i bought it 2day & dissapointed. its kinda long story. i had budget around 15000 tk/ (1$ = 70 tk). i searched the internet & also asked my friends & they told me to buy k550. i compared 2 phones, k550 (14000/- tk)& k750 (12200/-) & found that k550 is somehow newer than k750. first i chose k750 but the guy @ the buying shop told me that k550's carema is better than k750, it also include the so called "cybershot". as i have more preference on camera so i finally choose k550. & now i found that or u guys r tellin that k750's carema is better than k550.! damn! why the shopkeeper should tell lie to me?
moreover the large fonts of k550 does not suit me & i could not find a way to make them small font.
i am such a fool! if only i could join this forum b4 buying that damn phone.
i just thought k550 is a 2007 phone whereas k750 is 2005 phone so k550's camera must be better. but damn!
anyway i guess i have 2 b happy with it for now.
can any1 tell me some source from where i can get some video/audio playing software for this phone.
