The P1i is a superb macro camera but very average to poor for other applications. Shame about the green tint towards the bottom right hand side of every photo too.

I don't see how the green tint on one part of the screen could be fixed by a firmware update. All over the screen, yes. As for the rest of the camera, can software really make up for a bad lens? Digital cameras never need firmware updates so why do mobile phone cameras?
