Hello

Does Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) (SE DS980 headset) Supports LCG Jukebox for SE P990i? i don't need the various function of the Bluetooth headset. I only need sound/music from LCG Jukebox via Bluetooth stereo headset (A2DP)

I have read that on of our respect forum member(LCG Forum) said its possible. I have attached his comments:

He wrote:
I hace a 990i with a DS980 the new headset from SE and it works very well with a few limitations. U have to manuelly start the LCG Jukebox. The headset have a play/puse button that works with the built in media player, that does not work with the LCG Jukebox. And the song title does not show in the display of the headset. The skip forward backward from the headset works, and so does the volume adjustment, so u have the most important functions. BTW: the DS980 have a realy good quality sound, and the volume level is very good. Can highly recommend this headset.

plz give me a feedback does this way work or not?
Also let me any difference(Sound Quality) between SE DS980 and HPM 70.
Also give me the current price of SE DS980 in US Dollar.

Also what has the best sound quality betn DS980 and HBH 220

I have another concern for this headset. Im planning to buy this or the HBH-DS220 for my music pleasure through my laptop and not with a phone. I just recently bought a new laptop (HP DV6500t) with BT ver2.1. I wonder if this headset would work for music listening as well as using the mic for calls like voip calling (skype, yahoo and etc.)

Im using w800 so definitely i cant use this headset.

Thanks

Yes mate, it will work on your laptop providing you have the correct bluetooth stack and your PC BT dongle supports A2DP (stereo BT). Works with all windows sound output for me i.e anything that would come out of my speakers can now come out of my stereo headphone using this device. Been using it for months and its been great.

Cheers

So, for those who have had the DS970/80 and one a DS200/20, which do you prefer?

I've just ordered a pair of DS220's from Expansys and am expecting them tomorrow morning. Do you really get noticable interference when you put the phone in your trouser/jean pocket?

I honestly can't wait to try them out tomorrow!

Hi. Havent notice any problems with the phone in my jacket pocket or trousers. Works great. Borrowed a mates 970 and it is not as bad as i thought . I like the screen and the controls but not the wires really . Like the 200 as well for the clip and size. Less wires . Wish had more controls thoug. Ideal would be a cross of the two .

Hi, I live in Indonesia, and this is my first post. I just bought my HBH-DS200, costs about $65 here. Including this new gadget, I have three devices with A2DP:

1. My laptop,
2. My PDA, Dell Axim x51v
3. Stereo Headset HBH-DS200

SOUND QUALITY
============
Here are my wireless music streaming experiences:

1. From x51v to HBH-DS200: BAD. Sound getting murkier and noisier over time. I'm not an audiophile, but I can separate acceptable sound from the bad one. High frequencies is full of noise, but low and mid are acceptable.

2. From x51v to My laptop: GOOD. There are also noises in high frequency, but not as bad as HBH-DS200.

3. From my laptop to HBH-DS200: EXCELLENT. Noises are minimal to none. Sound is very similar to wired speaker. I think this is the real sound quality of HBH-DS200.

ERGONOMICS
===========
What I like:
1. The receiver is very light (14g). Dont forget to take it before you wash your clothes!
2. The clip design is strong. I also bough a neckstrap, and now it is *more-less* same with HBH-DS970! (Neckstrap-wise)

What I dislike:
1. There is no "plastic shell" like the one accompanied with HBH-DS970. I wish SE will give plastic shell to the next models, because the receiver is prone to spilling when we drink.

FLEXIBILITY
=========
3,5" jack is godsent. You can connect it to your favorite speakers / earplugs. Big point here.

CONTROL
========
This headset has three buttons:

1. On / off. Holding it activates "pairing mode".
2. Play / pause. Holding it changes volume.
3. Receive call

The only one missing here is back / forward buttons, but I still (and prefer) can control it from my device.

BATTERY
=======
Unknown yet. I'll post the result soon.

CONCLUSION: HBH-DS200 is an excellent performer with good sound quality, high flexibility, and comfortable ergonomics. It cheaper here than HBH-DS970. I really suggest it.

Can this headset only be charged by the included charger, or can you charge it from a USB port?

@ ismailfaruqi

So when you change the volume, i guess the volume keeps increasing till you find the level that you want and you let go of the button?
