I beg to disagree, I think it is clearly stated in the bible that after eating the apple, Adam got so guilty and when God called him he hid... he was so chicken to admit his sins. Therefore, the first chicken's name was "Adam"
This solves every controversy in the two threads -- Adam and the first chicken are one!

No no no blackspot,you are right about chicken coming first though...ask yourself this:how would the hatched egg know how to become a chicken if it came before the chicken?thats impossible unless there already was a chicken where the hatched egg could learn how to be a chicken...i ARrest my case
