Is there any way to add a shortcut to main menu?

Yes, if you first enable "showing system apps". Then you'll find main menu in the list.

i have found a cool shortcut kind of a bootman like effect. for when you reboot and want multiple apps to start with the press of a single button. just map the apps you want to start to the same key and press your hot key .there ya go. example: assign smp, timeblob, activesync, speedcontacts to the letter 'a' . very handy .

This app is great. I've got a small problem though. I can no longer set the lock by holding the back button on the side of my W950i. Am I missing something?

Thanks

Just took a photo of my W950i !

My lock button also exits the application !! But I can lock by using the drop down menu at the top left of the screen...

Ah!! I just received a call and when I finished the call, GDesk exited..

But screen looks nice, more to check out...

Thanks ofiaich

I've lost my stylus so it's a bit fiddly to access the dropdown list in the left hand corner. Guess I can live with the automatic lock timer function. Would just have been nice to still be able to lock with the back button when in a hurry.

If you "Replace Main" in the options list of GDesk it should go back to your desktop after you receive a call. Mine did anyway.

Cheers
Rob

Thanks too ralliart_rob!

I can just get at that drop down menu with my finger nail....

Thanks for telling me about "replace main"

what do you do if you want to restore after " replacing main" ?

I guess if I try it, I will see a different menu item appear? Restore?

Hahaha! stupid me ! Yes, just uncheck it...!

having a look now,

but should the previous version be uninstalled ? Or will this version just overwrite it ?

I am also wondering what the .gdd files are? Where to install them ? I am using a W950i !

Thanks for any advice!

the gdd files are different themes.
You can save and load different themes .

Here is mine if someone has a hard time creating a style.
(I should mention that it's adapted for the uiq-theme: Rising sun.)
