You shouldn't TELL someone to go away from ANY fan site - that is just plain rude.
Between your quote of what I said and mine typed right NOW, NOBODY has posted ANY confirmation of what that blog states. Eastern Standard Time zone its 9AM; elsewhere is 12AM October 2nd. SO where is a store that is to be confirmed by more than 2 ppl that its IN STOCK and ready for sale, shipping or online?! Hmmm ?!
My point was that only that blog was quoted several times, and NO "CHANCE" for a post by the K850i - or from someone that purchased it online and has it in hand?! A new thread for this when the official thread for the K850i would have sufficed; as so many ppl posted and watching that thread. Right now, this word that its "available" on October 1st seems more like wishful thinking & hoping.
Also don't forget. Many ppl on these boards don't live in Sweden, Europe or even Asia. And here in North America, the SE sites that is local to my region are pretty accurate in stating when phones are available. They STILL must arrive in factory storage before released to retailers - brick & mortar, not online retailers.

K850i Available! THATS IS there IS no inference nor deduction needed to understand that its AVAILABLE for purchase ANYWHERE. NOTHING in this title states its specific to 1 place in the world.
How do I know that there not arrived at the warehouses? I don't KNOW. Also I don't own SE obviously. BUT you can use intelligence & common sense. I'll show you what I mean ....
THIS post shows a blog NOT a retail outlet or even an online retailer that has a link in that blog showing its available for PURCHASE! PERIOD! Just mention that in Bulgaria has it for sale with a "BETA" firmware?! Since WHEN did SE ship a phone with BETA firmware - knowingly to themselves and the public BESIDES the P990i.

IF in Warehouses, which IS very possible, then its NOT BEING RELEASED as NO OFFICIAL announcement or go-ahead directly from SE to warehouses for them to announce or post online that PHONE is available with Contract or NO -Contract pricing. Furthermore in my LITTLE country there is only 4 national providers - 4 providers only with very few (less than 3) subcontracting providers. OF those 4 main providers there are only 2 Brands that offer GSM phones. Of the two 1 owns BOTH ... Rogers Wireless. Sure this is Canada ... but many months ago a prototype with PROOF of a java app designed for the K790 & W810 (smaller screens; different Java) have an installed MP3 player. HOWEVER its on the MENU SCREEN not in APPLICATIONS which LEAVES me to believe that its a BRANDED K850i prototype in TESTING.

That Headphones Icon on top left corner of the Main menu is a JAVA app that plays MP3s. This is part of Rogers Wireless branding on the W810/K790a. However this was on August 17, 2007; since then Rogers will NOT offer their wireless store to purchase music and thus this icon for branding will be gone before years end. Lastly the Canadian, US, UK sites ALL post the K850i as coming soon (star) beside teh K850i.

There is my proof of a BRANDED protoype & also deduction in that the K850i is not AVAILABLE like this thread title states, and why I requested more proof from more prolific sites having information that the K850i IS available.
Pop Lover, I'm not directly after you, only responding and quoting you as you singled my original post in this thread. I'm not trying nor intended to piss on anyone's credibility just that source should be multiple before a thread titled that a phone is "available". Many ppl like myself REALLY want the K850i but have other choices in phones to purchase and where looking to THIS VERY thread for information to help their purchasing easier.
