God, I was amazed that K850's screen had more vivid colours and was twice as bright as N95's.

Can't imagine surfing the net for long on that. For a nice BIG screen, wait for the upcoming Nokia Internet tablet. Size wise is not much bigger then the k850i but it has a HUGE 4.1in touch screen. The whole front side is basically one big screen in 16:9 format (800x480 resolution) for DVD quality movies. And it finally got the much awaited wimax
. Who needs a SIM card if one can phone over skype thru a fixed line adsl? Yes is heavy at 180+g but gosh, look what advantages come with all that

Now look at this - I have employed a method astronomers use to find new stars/planests. Its not perfect but it works just fine for our purporse. First I've enlarged the images to 100%, then I took a 640 x 480 cut out of the picture depicting the same area. After that I've tried to improve the picture as good as I could and saved it. You can see the result below. This method works for us because the files compared are not that large and by quick 'flipping' between the 2 images one can spot artefacts/differences. Please if you think you can improve more the respective images do so and post the result in here. Download the original picture from the test site I gave in my earlyer post and have a go at it. Nokia fans should try to improve the nokia image and SE fans the SE image. Fair is fair. I only want to know/see the result. Make sure you 'cut' more or less the same area so that we can judge which is the best pic. And please NO BASHING/FIGHTING.

lucky that the N95 uses heaps of noise reduction, because the N95 pic would have the same amount of noise as the K850.
The purple fringing is controlled in N95 where the K850 suffers from this.
I think it comes down to the photographers preference - either you like the photo preedited for you or you prefer the photo to be raw and edit it yourself if you choose.

There is no point in arguing anymore, when k850i picture quality has been beaten to death compared to n95
