Panasonic something (cant remember) > Motorola Startac (I wanted it so much) > Sprint PCS something > T39 > T68i > T610i > K700i > Siemens s 65 > K750i > Motorola Razr V3i > w810 i > P990i > K800i

Next up hoping for a P1i and k850i

Looking back, I think I am partly responsible for SE's wealth

Siemens C10 (first phone I could afford, riding the PAYG wave of the late nineties)

Ericsson T28s - first contract phone, first Ericsson, and absolutely fell in love with the design. Brilliant phone.

Ericsson T39m - technically much better phone, similar design, but never quite had the wow factor for me. Still, introduced me to GPRS and (buggy) mobile email.

Ericsson T68i - actually Ericsson design on the outside, but shop-upgraded to SE firmware on the inside. Colour screen, working WAP, very nice phone.

Sony Ericsson P800 - I originally swore off this "brick", but got tempted later just as the P900 came out, and the price fell through the floor. Absolutely amazing device at the time, nothing (but the P900) could hold a candle to it. Converted me entirely to the smartphone route, I've never considered an "ordinary" phone since. Kept this for longer than any other phone, through choice - 2+ years.

Sony Ericsson P910 - this was a nice, more polished version of the P800 but I got a little bored of it fairly quickly; even though it was supposedly two generations on from the original it wasn't much of an upgrade. The "qwerty keyboard" on the flip was a bit of a gimmick, and I chipped some paint off it just trying to use it - not very impressive. On the whole, I much preferred the P800, even though it was technically inferior in most respects. I'd even choose the plectrum-style stylus of the P800 over the more standard toothpick this came with.

Sony Ericsson M600i - I thought I wouldn't miss the camera (I did), and I thought UIQ3 would be much better than UIQ2 (it wasn't, really). I still liked this phone though, aside from the camera it did all the P910 did and more, but in a fraction of the size and weight. Moreover, the qwerty keyboard this time was genius, a truly inspired design. Great for messaging etc, nice to carry, but early firmware problems and limited functionality shortened it's appeal.

HTC Tytn II - in the end SE paid for their mistakes with UIQ3, as a combination of the P1's similarity to the M600i, and Vodafone's refusal to stock the P1 in any case after the P990/M600 debacle, lead to my defection for the first time in seven years. I got a very good offer on an upgrade to the Tytn II (Vodafone are desperate to minimise Iphone casualties at the moment), and the prospect of trying something completely new won me over. So far I'm very impressed - it's no lightweight, but it's a very powerful smartphone that gives that "cutting edge" feeling I've been missing since the early days of the P800. It does everything you could ask of a modern phone, which is sadly not something you can say about anything SE have on the market at the moment. But who knows, maybe the P5i will be next in the list

Sagem MW 3020
Nokia 3100 (i think)
K700
W810
W880

The best of them all has to be the W810, the worst the Nokia, followed closely by the W880, in terms of how much I like it.

From 1996 - today
Motorola - Graphite.
Siemens C25
Sony J70
Nokia 3410 (for about 2 weeks , went back to the j70)
SE T310
SE T610
SE K700
SE K750i
SE W810i
SE K850i

Worst has to be the Motorola graphite,
Loved the quirkyness of the J70 , and loved the T310 for being the first one with a colour screen . The 3410 was a massive disappointment think its put me off nokias for life.
