Yes i get your point but i think you are a tad cynical there. I rather think that the different testers often get different results by pure chance. Some shots get bad and some get good, sometimes this is not depending on wich model you use.

Actually my N95 lasts plenty good. N82 would be better. Even after many long sessions on BROADBAND WIFI
The latest FW update (yes Nokia actually release them unlike SE) to the N95-1 will add demand paging and much other stuff. This will improve battery life.
Admittedly the K850 battery runs for ever... but then the phone is actually incapable of doing an eighth of the things an N Series can do. Processor use eats power, use the device for cool things and it will suck power out of the battery.
I have this magical thing called a wall socket in my house that I use to charge my phone up overnight when I am asleep. Even you planky cannot use your K850 when your asleep.
In the Land Rover I plug this amazing thing into one of the power outlets and it charges the phone up too... incredible it is.

The battery life on the N82 is going to be better not worse as it has demand paging which is much kinder to power consumption and aids battery life it doesn't make it worse.

Please explain just what the K850 has that the N82 doesn't as the other way round there is loads of things the N82 has the K850 doesn't the only thing the N82 doesn't have is an SE badge which at this point in time is a bonus not a deficiency unless of course you only buy SE and your devices by brand in which case it's your loss and no one else's.
We all get you love SE and are a big fan but just some times a little objectivity would be a good thing and stop you making so many obviously biased statements that are just not supported by the facts.

So what? Are you going to let your phone sits on the table like a dumb-as* without using it?
K850 has a pretty shitty battery life for a dumb-phone. On normal use, N82 will probably last 2-3 days. There is no way in hell that K850 can last twice as long as that (which you foolishly tried to implied). K850 will be very lucky if it can last 20% longer N82.

i spook with Nokia web team yesterday...they said that N82 (ordinary using...20-30 pictures, 3G, etc, etc....last 1-2 days !!!!!!!!!
N82 have only 4 h talktime...thats NOT very good...and yes, k850 last way longer, at least twice that time........

Dude, seriously, the battery doesn't matter in this thread. Please don't defend the K850 too much. I know you love it like hell. But people have their own opinions.

N73 and N82 is quite different, I should say. One have 3mp camera while the other has a 5mp camera. N82 is much powerful than N73.
C'mon, Plank. Let it be, mate. You don't need to say bad things about Nokia.
Most threads that I've read in here are now kinda becoming like the Playstation 3 versus X-box 360 threads. Lots of fanboys everywhere.
