nice theory but wrong i'm afraid.
the first typewriters were built with a sequential keyboard (a-b-c etc.), but the typists got too fast and broke the new machines. the QWERTY system was developed to slow them down.
also the reason elephants can't jump is that the bones in their feet are packed so tightly together, they can't move them.
