I think the Iphone's OS X might just take the cuddly prize! I don't rate the functionality much, but it is friendly. UIQ is ok on that score, but I'm not sure I'd rate it much higher than the competition on huggability.

Ergonomics of UIQ3 is badly implemented, especially given that there is no 5 way jog dial any more. Also the P1i lacking hard option / call buttons is just piss poor design!

Not all s60 v3 devices have that...
Plus, you keep putting things on the list that arenīt really true in because there is way of doing it for free on UIQ3...examples:
Zip File support
Blog/Direct Video/Audio Upload from Gallery
Other than that...Real Player??? You do know the UIQ media player supports real media???
In the UIQ advantages, why did you forget ability for copy paste from and to any aplication???? This is a main thing on a real smartphone and "what computers have become", but i guess accelerometer stuff (lightsaber) and ngage is more important for you

For me UIQ3 is very efficient and user friendly. I consider myself a business user and must say that UIQ3 very nicely fulfils my need. Through touch screen and qwerty entering larger text is very convenient (specially using predictive text), and creating and editing office files is must have for any serious business user (also in landscape mode). Cut/copy/paste function also make life much easier. Browser is fantastic with full download capacity and very fast specially via wifi. Sending large emails with attachment is also one of the must have functionality and UIQ3 is great in that, it feels like one is using PC and not a phone. VOIP also works great and save a lot of money using skype out calls. I always liked simple today screen in wm devices and now P1 has something similar which is a big plus for me (and also 15 shortcuts). One hand usage is very convenient since touch screen, jog and keyboard make super combination ( practically the whole screen takes function of hard keys). Battery life, usb mass storage, nice camera and pocket size make the whole experience even more enjoyable. Add some fantastic third parties apps like advanced call manager, magic message manager, project, finanz and dictionaries and capacity to handle them all simultaneously at the same time (I regularly use up to 20) and there is next to everything for every business user, a real small PC in the pocket.

Ok. UIQ3 can do zip. I'll take this out from my list.
But does it have something like Nokia LifeBlog where it blogs everything you do on the phone? Or direct upload to flickr from gallery itself?
Other than that...Real Player??? You do know the UIQ media player supports real media???
What I meant is can it stream it from a server instead of playing the downloaded file.

S60 has system wide copy-paste a long time.

It is just a list.

Not my preferences. It is to show what you get you if buy a phone with S60V3 or UIQ3? Some people may not care about any of these. Since we are comapring UI/OS, one of the criteria for "greatness" is the functioanlity of the delivered system.

Are you certain about that???? Can you copy and past from ANY place to ANY place in the entire phone OS, including java apps??? AFAIK, sometime ago, you couldnīt even do that on the Nokia Web Browser...be serious will you???
