This is now listed as available in NZ through non-official channels and quite cheap too - NZ$199. Anyone got one of these yet?

I've played with this phone in a shop and it really looks simple and beauty. If only it has a memory slot....

I bought this phone as an extra to use for my work. I have a K770i as a regular private phone but needed something inexpensive yet user friendly to back it up.

I got it for 50€ with an pay as you go (including a 10€ credit) plan with Vodafone NL. It is simlocked ofcourse, but that doesn't bother me much.

It is very sleek and small and excellent to throw it in your bag even if you are already carrying a phone like me.

The menu responsiveness is good, even though I find it lacks the snappiness of the K770i, but that is to be expected of a phone costing a quarter of that one.

The sound quality is good enough and the polyphonic ring tones sound nice and clear.

All in all I'm very happy with it. I'd even be happy to use it as my only phone, though the lack of expandable memory would be a slight nuisance in that case.

Now it does not bother my since I do not really intend to use it for taking pictures (the reason I chose the K770i).

I snapped two pictures just to give you an idea of what the camera is like. As you can see the white balance isn't too great and there is a noticable "water color" effect. The pics were taken at the highest res with the lowest compression.
I'd say the camera is perfectly usable, but average.
