Don Juan is still away as far as I know, so I now hand over the reigns to nnr3 so that the January competition may be set up. Hopefully the next month is a bit more popular - and I look forward to seeing the theme you come up with!

nnr3 has just informed me that he is unable to do the January photo competition, so if anybody else would like to do it, please volunteer.
Whoever does it will need to be around often enough to bump the thread if needed and also announce the winner at the end of the month. If you want it, then the job is yours.
