I have a weird bug.
The missed calls list doesn't work, but not all the time.
When i use my phone from home to try it, i see it in the missed calls.
When my GF or anyone calls me from a mobile phone, it doesn't show up in the missed calls section....
I re-updated once, i don't see how another reinstall of the FW could help.

Am i the only one having this issue ?

Thx

EDIT : Another issue : SMS & MMS aren't saved in a full backup ! I did a full backup before reinstalling the FW only to find out that i lost every messages because they are not included in the backup.... That's just retarded...

If you're new to S60 systems then this is not an issue...

when you first press the green button to have the call list, it well only shows the Dialled numbers ( outgoing ), there's three tabs in call list, and the default is the Dialled numbers ( the third tab ), you have to select the second tab to see the Received calls ( Incoming ), and the first tab to see all Missed calls...

I'm really missing way of having a default 'tab of all' with small icon to distinguish these calls from being incoming, outgoing or missed...exactly like missing the tabbed file manager and the way to browse and select files ( pics or audio ) for example when you try to select a picture for your wallpaper or when you want to select a ringtoon, in S60 a list with all your images/audio will be shown which is annyoing, mode in another way is way way better as it's like browsing with mini file manager... maybe if I want to add a feature to method then I'll add a quick search within the file manager...

My phone was working fine till this morning I found that whatever incoming or outgoing call happens, the phone associates a particulare photo taken by its camera. This is irrespective of anyone on my contacts or not. Even happening for incoming calls where the number has been hidden.

Yet to check what happens when I remove that picture.

The GPS hasn't been functioning since the update. At most, it finds one satellite only. I believe it needs at least 3 or 4. I have tested it in several conditoins and on many places where it worked before. Anyone else experiencing this?

Predictive text input bugs:
1. Most commonly used words are not put at the top of the list, e.g. I use "in" much more than "go" yet "go" appears first always. Similarly "then" and "them". C902 was able to handle this (and even older phones) so why not Satio? A minor niggle but highly annoying when trying to send a quick message.
2. Having written a word and chosen it from the list of possibilities, putting a symbol, question mark, comma, full stop etc after it and selecting with the star key changes the word to the first one in the list, AFTER already selecting the one you want. Doing this for every other word is crazy. SMSs take 5 times longer to write as they did on the C902.
3. Cannot input single letters, until you spell them all manually.

Agreed texting is my biggest niggle
Satio doesnt save words
and you have to use the space and back buttons to add a full stop etc after a changed word, making it slow process.

Totally agree. Text is the worst ever on the Satio. It's so backwards and so very very slow and long winded. Words not remembered, words changing after a full stop and no way to edit the so called word list. SE must have thought lets see just how rubbish we can make this and really annoy our customers.

When the calendar is displayed on the standby screen, the week of Jan 1st is called week 53 not week 1.

Minor, but a bug nonetheless.

It's not a bug.

Jan 1st are in week 53, week 1 starts Jan 4

ISO 8601 includes the ISO week date system, a numbering system for weeks – each week begins on a Monday and is associated with the year that contains that week's Thursday

First day of week: Monday
First week of year contains: 4 January, 1st Thursday, 4–7 days of year
Weeks assigned twice: no
Used by/in: Most of Europe ISO 8601(1988) except UK, European Norm EN 28601 (1992)
