Say whaa? those werent simple apps, Gravity alone can take around 15mb RAM or more, UCWeb had large pages so that takes quite a bit of RAM, VideoHUB is average, Nokia Messaging is no simple app either although it is lite on RAM, its probably the best Email Client for S60v5, and the AAS app had a blog loaded.
I opened and used apps that most people would use on their smartphones on a daily basis. Multitasking no longer causes lags in 5800.

Hi Luhccas
Sorry for my poor english. I also like, love sony ericsson. But this N8's hardware is better than Satio. It's true. We are accept. I hope that later SE is create better than N8.

hhmm.. maybe why satio have lots of bugs because of the OS, Nokia is good at making symbian with editions s60v1 s60v2 s60v3 s60v5, SE had the same symbian OS but a different version thats UIQ, so if satio had the SE's own symbian OS version i think it wont have many bugs, i wonder why SE use S60v5 rather than improve their own symbian UIQ edition.

agreed! though just killed the mighty UIQ when they lose with S60.

IMHO, it's just the competition. I can see that the Satio is the best, for now. Despite the bugs, Satio is still complete. I don't know in the future when the N8 will be released. But I can see that the Nokie will kill the mighty Satio since the Finnish company will sell it on a lower price tag with better features.

@Tsepz_GP,i'm not talking about simple apps... If you think UCweb is a complex app, well,is your opinion and i will respect it... The point here is games with use of GPU,apps with large RAM use and internal functions like music or FM...
I'm talking about things who eats more RAM than your beloved 5800 have free.
Have you tried to run Let's Golf HD in your fast 5800?Rally Master Pro?Ferrari GT HD?And all this aplications listening music when you play?
I wanna see the "no slowdown" during this test

Well, talking about hack now.Since my first Symbian phone i use cracked apps, cracked games or whatever.
The world is "free" for who knows where to search.
If you just test the Satio on a store you can't say a verdict about it.
Satio still better than any Nokia S60V5 device available on market.
Nokia can make tons of updates but this will not change the low RAM,slow processor and the lack of a GPU.

Luhccas
you're talking about games? I thought you were talking about apps that were ACTUALY USEFUL, ofcourse those would run slow as the 5800 doesnt have a GPU, what idiot would actualy put those on a 5800 in the 1st place? How many GPU games are there for S60v5? If you can name me atleast 25 GPU games il take them seriously.
Outside of those very few GPU games would you be able to name any other apps, PROPER APPS, that are PRODUCTIVE ,that my lowly 5800 would struggle with???
OperaMobile10 in its 1st Beta was a problem, but that now runs very well.
The reason i named UCWeb is because once you load heavier sites it does become a heavy app.
In terms of hardware YES Satio is better, ive said this before, BUT in terms of software and overall functionality of the UI the NOKIAs are better.
Im glad YOU dont mind hacking your phone but why should you have to do that just to install Nokia software?
Do SE now have a proper Push Email app for their S60 phones by the way? Just wondering.

What is useful to you can not be for me,right? Why do i need to use Nokia apps when i have other options? Why do i need to install Push mail client when i don't need it?Everything you said is personal and i can't agree or disagree...
Because is YOUR opinion and not the facts.
I had 5800 for 2 months,i've not tested in a store for a few minutes to complain about it...
You are doing this...

you did this before me with the GPU games, i made it clear that for my needs the 5800 can multitask just fine, and that it has come a long way to what you had for in those 2months.
Yes i did try a Satio in store, i had a lot of time, went through the Web Browser, Media, Camera, and was absolutely impressed by the design, its a gorgeous piece of kit, but my word, the software/UI was like a early 5800, what NOKIA have done to S60v5 in latest X6/5800/5230/N97 etc fws is make it far more touch friendly and snappy, going from that to a Satio (software wise) feels like a step back, as Satio does have the hardware but not much software to take advantage of that excellent hardware, most S60 software is written to work on N97/5800 effeciently so as a 5800 user i dont feel the impact of the 434mhz arm11 and 128mb ram, i have Gravity (updating every 5mins) and Nokia Messaging (push email) running all day, throw music player, a web browser and a few widgets in to the mix and its still fine.
We've gone WAY OFFTOPIC, my apologies.

The Satio and the 5800 both have ups and downs

But for me the Satio is the winner because I like take pictures a lot. Also the Satio is going to get an update sometime next month (maybe getting new features).

The only things that lets me down is the list on the petition, http://www.gopetition.com/online/35451.html

Hopefully (fingers crossed) SE will make an update that gives us most of these features as well as that SE could be able to give us symbian^3 (in a later firmware update) this is something that no Nokia (running s60v5 ^1, ^2) will be able to get.
