I think overall specification wise the iphone 4 is just amazing and if someone could take the housing of it and stick it all in my 3GS i would be happy to pay them a handsome sum of money

^True. That is something Nokia and SE was not able to do when they first released phones with video call.
hehehehe because they invented them.
So what if Nokia and SE invented them? Have they actually made something for people to use video call more? No, they just included it on their phones. Nothing interesting than actually seeing that other person you are calling and the other way around.

I gotta say that Apple has the best marketing ever. I mean look at the FaceTime advert... All the emotions and stuff.
Plus the british akcent of Jonathan Ive

well it helps the ladies get an iPhone
Apple just makes things better and let's not talk about MORE attractive
I agree with you rss_ndrsn!

IPhone 4 would look more nicely if Apple combined the design of 3GS with it. Imagine the IPhone 4 with 3GS's back design, it is stunning.

but would it be thicker if it had the curvature? I bet when you get your hands on one you'll love it
I didn't like the design when gizmodo leaked it but i love it now.

Probably? but now if it wasn't for the UI and Apple logo on the back this could pass off as any phone such as your HTC's etc where as before with the 3G and 3GS you could tell it was an iphone from mile away i'm really not convinced but like you say i may like it when i get my hands on it?

The video call feature that most of us do not use will now be used more oftenly because of the IPhone 4. It seems that whatever Apple touches becomes gold. Good job SE for not including front camera on X10.

...
Face time only works from
iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 so if you have another type of phone with video calling your out of luck.
Can you imagine the criticism

would get if they produced a smartphone which could only video call other

smartphones of the same type? They would be laughed at by the whole industry. Why then can Apple get away with this? Sure they are introducing a new open video calling standard but who else have announced they will be picking this up? Would Android manufacturers really want to support Apple by joining their standard?
