Heh, this is one area Symbian is annoying, when a Symbian phone's battery is very low it turns off and refuses to turn back on again even though there is some power left in the battery !

Still, i think the Waves battery life sucks which is a much harder problem to solve.

All reviews I have read of the Wave have praised the battery life

bada has a lot of potential, but it still has a lot of time to do before catching up with the other OS's...

Well to say it has 1500mAh capacity straight from the box as opposed to my Satios 1000mAh, it lasts half the time. Ive also noticed charging can take upwards of two hours if flat. Im not saying its bad battery life, it gets my girlfriend through a full day usually but i dread to think what it would be like if i used it like i do my Satio.

It will be interesting to see how it does against my N8 when it arrives, with its 1200mAh battery.

Anyway, thats my experience of the phone rather than a reviewers opinion.

Not sure, and I was lead to believe iphone 4 is mono also. I know the N8 records in stereo, will try find out.

Can't find anywhere that says the Wave or Galaxy record video audio in stereo. One would assume that with them only having 1 mic, that it would be mono. The N8 is equipped with 3 mics (1 for noise cancellation, 2 for stereo recording).

The iPhone 4, Galaxy S and Wave all record in mono only. In order to record in stereo you need an adaptor then an external microphone. Its silly to me why phones dont record in stereo more often, since the cost of stereo microphones is rather low.
