SE replied to my query on facebook. They aren't going to update W8 to 2.3. They claim 'we will optimize 2.1 to provide the best possible android experience' What fools! Who will buy a phone which will not be updated? People are smart. Only the Walkman branding will not push sales.

all i want in W8 is the supplied headset, the only reason it cost more than X8
