Well the S4 is now certain to be announced on 14th March, so lets see how Samsung can improve an already winning formula.

Still hoping for a better camera with xenon, aluminium body and stereo speakers.

Oh and 3gb ram would be welcome

HTC One uses Broadcom’s new 5G WiFi modem

Gotta love Htc for paying attention to all these fine little details that all amount to an overall better experience with the One.

It is good, but I just wish they would pay the same attention to the rest of their devices parts. HTC always seem to do well in one area and neglect five other areas at the same time.

As much as I love Samsungs Galaxy line, they just dont have much competition for informed consumers like us to choose from. Its either a Samsung or a major sacrifice going with another manufacturer.

FINALY HTC GET IT!!! They have announced that the Htc One will be the ONLY 2013 HTC flagship:

Great to see Htc listening unlike Sony, who already have rumours going around about their 2nd half flagship
Htc will now be able to focus on marketing and SW updates of one flagship, great work by them.

Very true, if Samsung were to go tomorrow I'd be screwed as there really isn't any true competition for them, even in Android, I look at the Xperia Z and Htc One and they are missing things that i use daily on my GS3 which is much older, quite sad actually, and chances are our GS3s may get Android4.2 before those two.

They do indeed Rikken, it's one gorgeous device.

The news for HTC fans just keeps, getting better to:

Sense 5.0 coming to HTC One X, One X+, One S and HTC Butterfly 'in the next few months'
http://www.phonearena.com/new[....]in-the-next-few-months_id40349

So, not only have Htc announced a great new flagship this week they have now assured users of their older devices that they will get a taste of the new UI to in an upcoming update, excellent stuff by Htc, THIS is the Htc we all knew back in 2010. The only other Android OEM who does this sort of thing is Samsung, and that's why they are so successful, glad to see Htc are taking the hint, unlike some other OEMs.

Finally an OEM posing a real threat to Samsung, it's going to be a race between GS4 and One to see which gets Android5.0 1st

Me too, but i dont think i'd buy it over whatever Samsung will be preparing to unveil.

The main issue with the One is its camera. I know its meant to be innovative, but i just cannot imagine it taking better pictures than my N8 which i use mainly for its camera.
