Yes, friends!

I think we are just beginning to see the potential of the Ericsson Sony co-operation...)..Remember that the feature where Ericsson 3G chips is far ahead is the current consuption which is about the same as for a modern GSM phone..)

Cheers!

And as always, they didn't include GSM 1900 Mhz for America's....our luck I guess - the phone is only dual band. Alas.

why on earth wouldn't SE make it a tri-band!? I'm sure it's got GSM1900 aswell as their previous phones. Most of the new exclusive cellphones has got tri-band built in.

It is dual mode GSM/W-CDMA...so it should work also if you only have a GSM network? Or what do you guys have to say about this?

Cheers!

I think it will work in GSM. So you can buy one when it comes out, use it on GSM and wait till 3G gets here - you will have this phone for a while..

Yes you are right! They do have a bad record on mantaining release dates but, I don't know, somehow I got the feeling that this time they will not have such great delays. Furthermore they are already experienced in 3G phones (Japanese market).

This is Sonyericssons first WCDMA handset. They do not have any WCDMA handsets available in Japan, or anywhere else.

No I dont think its a built in flash - I would say that its the same "mirror thing" as on GD87, so you can see that your aiming the cam in the right direction when taking a photo of yourself!

omg, it has 100 metres bluetooth range..........that's unbelieveable ! So that means I can leave my phone at home while go shopping at my local stores and still be able to use the bluetooth headset.........wow !!!! And I can even bluejack more people around...........haha ! Great phone, SE ! Keep up the great work !

Wow.. looks like a killer phone.. (killer for nokia that is)
Don't like flip-phones but I'm prepared to make an exeption =P
But the yes-no buttons are gone.. gonna miss that.. I think it's a pretty good idea to have power on-off on the same button as something else.. feels a bit of a waste to let on-off have it's own button =/
