So there are two to three runs I have done like the above, I cannot tell which is which as I have screenshots all over my Gallery and all around the same figures, but it's all part of me trying to live in a Post-PC era.

In some I use my phone as my sole entertainment device and so on. As we have planned power cuts down here it's good to get an idea of how much abuse ones phone can take.
So when I did the above run I went mostly mobile for a lot of my work. I am a Digital Marketer and specialist in PPC Management in Google AdWords and thus also do work in Google Analytics, and luckily there are Android Apps for both.
To give you an idea of what a shock such a run is, at work I have a laptop with a 15inch wide display and I use it with two 23inch wide large displays. Anyway, I mostly used my phone to maintain client accounts in AdWords, was even able to do budgets on top of doing the usual web browsing, social media, email etc... My Note 4 got a thorough beating, I usually go to bed at around 10PM but by that time the phone still had plenty juice

so I soldiered on.
I did use my laptop and monitors to continue running the Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Ad Accounts, but it was nice to see just how much my Phablet can do in terms of my work.
The highest SOT I have had is over 10hours, this was when I watched a season of a show ('The 100') on it. Will try find those screenshots, but I think I lost them when I did the hard format when I was not happy with the early Lollipop ROM.

The point was Snapdragon (801 on Z3) vs Exynos (5433 on Note 4).
You simply can't have 7+ hours of SOT. (thanks to dvfs problem on Mali GPU, present on S6 too)
I tried, trust me.
We don't have the Snapdragon version of Note 4 here in Brazil.
For comparison purposes, Galaxy Note 4 gave me normally 6:00 hours of SOT with 1d using power saving mode.
Without, 05:30 with 18 (+ or -) hours of total usage.
The print of Xperia Z3 was under Super Stamina activating after 10%- of battery and without reduced performance.
With reduced performance i got 09:56 SOT at maximum with 2 days and 4 hours of usage. (didn't find the print)
Just saw some users with 10+ hours of SOT and with 3 days of usage in XDA.
I became interested in the new Note 5 but i think it will not arrive in Brazil with acceptable price. (i bet in 1100+ USD)
This will make me jump out of Samsung boat again.
I'm considering getting the new Xiaomi mi note pro instead of Xperia Z3+ due to its f*cking high price.
We don't have good choices in high-end segment.
S6 edge costs 1000+ USD and S6 a lil bit less.
This is just insane.

Thank you for clearing it up, yes, the N910C does get lower battery life, I had no idea the DVFS issue was still there, as if I remember correctly the Exynos 4412 in the S3 had it to.
The N910F Snapdragon 805 Note 4 is capable of very high SOT, 10hours SOT is not uncommon, but the average is around 7-8hours SOT.
I usually go to bed early in the week, so I usually have around 35-45% batt. left and just over 5hours SOT out of 14-15hours off charge, and go ahead and plugin.
When is Brazil getting the Note5? We are only getting it in November here in South Africa. We are getting the S6 Edge+ next week though.
I wanted to open another contract with another network, but with no true Note 4 successor I may not bother. I want to see what Sony announce at IFA, and if I am not happy with that then I want to see if LG will bring a G Pro. If they use the Snapdragon 810, then I will just wait for the Note 6.

It's weird that Samsung still doesn't fix the management of the Ram memory (as on the S6), the Note 5 open apps faster than G4 (because its faster cpu) but slower to resume in multitasking and it must re-open it despite the 4Go of ram !

Congrats, and enjoy your new beast!
I won't be joining you this year unfortunately.
Let us know how it goes especially compared to your Note 4.

Yep! I was truly put off by that video, why have Samsung made RAM Management so aggressive in the S6 and Note5??? Is that what helps them conserve power? That may be what allows them to get more battery life out the smaller batteries, by keeping as few tasks as possible in the RAM.
