by reading the review i will definitely not get the t610. SE still has not stepped up it's efforts to improve their status in the industry. i also don't like the t610's design and the use of aluminum which can be scratched easily or dented if yu are not carefuk with the phone.

does anyone ever use the shortcut keys for all nokia models ?
eg for 8210, shortcut key to go directly to find missed call is the menu button, -, then 2 , then 1 ?
so u simply press - 2 1
and so forth with the other options ...
does sony ericsson models or this T610 comes with this shortcut feature ?

T610 and other sony ericsson phones does have such shortcut features. But since on T610, there's no number on the front of the menu, so you simply have to remember the number position for shortcut !!

on Saturday, asking about the release date of the T610 in the UK, this the reply i got:
Dear Sir,
Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Customer Care Centre.
We do not yet have a confirmed release date for the T610.

Okay, so no problem there, i e-mailed again on Sunday regarding an approximate price (it was a long shot!) and i just picked up my e-mails now:
Dear Mr Walshe,
Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Customer Care Centre.
Answer:
Sony Ericsson would be unable to comment upon a price for this product until this item is launched within the
third quarter of 2003
Please contact the Sony Ericsson Customer Care Centre again if we can assist you further.

isnīt UK one of the contries in europe that it takes alot of time for new phones to get out on the market!

has moved the T610 into their 'Global portfolio phones'-section (from upcomming phones - it's no longer listed here).
Any actual word on the official release date?
Maybe this is a good new topic, for someone to post, that actually know. Thanks.
We (here in Denmark) seem to get the phones fairly quickly in stores once they are 'out'.
