interim error report: SMan1.1a doesnt work with "T610 discoverable" device. Maybe it's in the T610 BT software - in case this prob remains I would come back to you.

what do u see in sman's log for the t610?
edit: this is a generic statement but we use v2.1 vcards for the bluejacking. devices (ipaq, r520, t39, laptop, p800, t68, 8910, 3650... i can't remember but i know where were a few more blokia models) we tested (except t610) accepts v2.1. but i'm thinking i could be barking up the wrong tree.

On the subject of the taks closer. Are there any tasks in the list that are best left alone or can you close everything down and have the phone work fine?
The main one I am curious about is Flipkeypad - 44k
Hardly anything else running.
Hope to try the bluejacking soon

if you are not showing hidden tasks then the only one u should have running flipkeypad.
you can try closing that down but the OS (actually, another server running on the phone) just keeps restarting it. so there's no point really.
if u do show hidden tasks, those hidden tasks can also be closed but they also get restarted by the phone.
i wouldn't recommend closing hidden apps though....(except tracker + handyday

) because these are usually system apps and are needed by the phone to operate properly. if you want to find out which apps these are, reboot your phone and when it starts up, just launch SMan and look at hidden tasks. everything there except SMan should be system tasks (unless u have autostart enabled).
