Wether or not you think you should have to pay for this opr that does not matter. If the item you want to snag for free doesn't have a "Free sign" on it, taking it without paying for it is ILLEGAL. I don't work for free. I am sure you do not either.
It is too bad people enjoy stealing.
Do you steal from the local grocery store diet pop because you think it should be for free?

Bad analogy.
When you take data from the internet you are effectivley copying it. You don't remove anything, so therefore it isn't stealing.
No, I don't work for free, but if I was to code a mophun game, it would more than likely be in my spare time and I wouldn't expect to be paid for it. If I develop a game and people like it, good for them.
So are you saying that I can get my hands on a piece of software and put it on an ftp site labeled 'free software!' and people could legally download it?

I bought Chesswiz the other day the price was £4.50 which is considerably more than a couple of quid, when I came to buying it they charged me a fiva!. They a few days later my phone refused to turn on so I have sent it back to SE for a replacement unit, and guess what-SE refuses to give me a free mophun credit!. SE are the true thieves of the mophun world so dont make us out as the bad guys for trying to get the games without being ripped off.

Exactly! Besides, you can backup even the WAP downloaded ringtones on PC

After some investigation, it seems that the vendor provided included some kind of header that activated a DRM protection on that tune.
Just for your information.
Regards!

No I havent got any illegal files on my system, for one I run a business so if i got caught with any copyrighted material id probably lose that business and most of my customers just for the sake of a few mp3s or whatever, i just buy cds from cdwow or amazon, its alot safer and you get full quality tracks not rubbish compressed mp3s.

I'm gonna check again mophungames website...
Before, I wasn't able to... I'm sure of that. You had to select the location you are and I was not in the list. Website was saying "download to the phone only"
If they changed to this way you explained, then, well, I'm glad of it!Ok, just be sure to register before you buy. For you to be able to redownload a game, you should already have registered your IMEI before buying it. Did you do that?
I'd try to explain why that step is mandatory for you to be able to redownload. There are two kind of bought games on Mophun: IMEI-Locked and OTA.
On one hand, IMEI-Locked ones have the phone IMEI embedded, so that that game won't run in any other device. Advantages? Many: you can let user download the game to his/her PC because there's no risk of piracy. Also, IMEI-Locked vendors allow games up to 120000 bytes, which usually means the this kind of games usually have better functionality and/or graphics. Disadvantages: Vendor must have a way of knowing user phone's IMEI.
On the other hand, the OTA games are used when there's no way for the vendor of knowing the user phone's IMEI. The game executable is almost the same everytime, just some identificative tags (like the buyer phone number) are added. These games works on almost all phones. That's because the don't offer the possibility to download the game to your PC... that file could be easily copied and installed on any number of phones for free. Also, OTA vendors may impose a max size of 60000 bytes for the game, so developers must cripple some functions/graphics to overcome this.
What does this really means? If you registered in MOPHUNGAMES with your IMEI, you should have bought an IMEI-Locked version. That is, you should be able to redownload your games as many times you wish, even to your PC.
Hope this helps you. Have luck and take care...
