Can someone please help me, I used infrared to send all my contacts from my phone to the pc however when i open the file(it opens with Outlook) i can only see one contact i.e the first from the phonebook. I then changed the file to open up with Excel and even though i opens with all the names and numbers, it has something like "BEGIN V CARD" and "END V.CARD" for each every conact. What I want is just a simple list of my contacts with names and numbers that will be easily read it could be either be in Excel or Outlook. I used someone else's laptop to send those contacts so I want to know if I there is a way to do that without using the Sony Ericsson Software disk that came with my phone.

you can't use that file in outlook. it's just ment as a backup: if you send it to your phone it restores all the contacts.

Q: How to convert .amr to .wav and the other way around?
A: Well, there's a nice lil proggie here called
MIKSOFT's Mobile AMR Converter. It has a strange "bug" however. When selecting the output file in a conversion, you can't create a new .wav/.amr file, but instead, you need to select an existing file (any extension) so that the data can be converted to amr and vice versa. Don't worry, it doesn't overwrite the file you needed to select, it will only have a strange name like this for e.g.: personal_data.doc.amr (or) .wav
The latter extension name is the real one, so afterwards you can rename it to anything you like.
But remember: .amr isn't a 5.1 speaker system quality. In fact, it hardly reaches 20 kbps quality, so the only sounds that will be comprehensive in the output file are the ones in 1 meters range of the phone. From further off, everything's a bit distorted.

Hey wrath000 I PM you about this but you didn't reply, so I post it here
Q. Can I upload pictures from my phone to the PC using a cable?
A. No. You'll have to use IRDA or Bluetooth. Note that you can also send them as E-Mail but you will need WAP.
Correction: it works with cable with the new version of FMA
