VoSSy, and for those who have problem connecting>

Please download latest version 0.07.1 which refer to registry for Flow Control settings.

Try to play around with VaComm_* parameters in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\floAt\MobileAgent. Run the program at least once to have all the entries appear in the registry. Exit the program before changing the settings.

Possible Values:

VaComm_FlowControlControlDtr - (dtrDisabled), dtrEnabled, dtrHandshake
VaComm_FlowControlControlRts - (rtsDisabled), rtsEnabled, rtsHandshake, rtsToggle
VaComm_FlowControlDsrSensitivity - True, (False)
VaComm_FlowControlOutCtsFlow - True, (False)
VaComm_FlowControlOutDsrFlow - True, (False)
VaComm_FlowControlTxContinueOnXoff - True, (False)
VaComm_FlowControlXonXoffIn - True, (False)
VaComm_FlowControlXonXoffOut - True, (False)

Those in brackets are the current/default value.

Let me know the outcome.

Thanks!

Hi float,

switched from datacable to bluetooth, your program works like a charm now.
Thanks for your great work.
Only the "Dude where's my phone"-Function doesn't work.
It says: Error Transmit Command AT*ERIP=7,16.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but my question is,
would it be possible to have a phone call with your pc and ISDN
and to have the mobile phone act like a cordless phone at home?

Or at least is there a way to build a script so that my mobile phone shows me if somebody is calling on my homephone. This might seem stupid, because the BT-Range is only 10 meters, but it would be very usefull to me, since i often don't hear my phone,
when i am in the kitchen.

1.
"Dude, where is my phone?" is there to show to scripting capability, the command makes the phone play 16th ringing tone at volume of 7. I guess it works differently because mine is still a T68m.

You could edit the script, find the line and change the ringing tone index or the volume.

2.
This is intresting. My answer is Yes and No

I remember R520's Bluetooth supports this profile (can't remember what is it called, but it could act as a cordless phone when in range of a base unit) but you will need a base unit.

For "indication" of caller, you will somehow need a PSTN/ISDN modem which supports CallerID, and have a program to retrieve the caller ID.

Now, to show it on the phone. T68 have no such capability but maybe future J2ME phone will do. However for now, we could sent command to phone to type (simulate keypad input) the number, or could play different ringtone based on a database table on the Host.

Cheers,

In respond to the flow control "bug", i've added options for configuration in the Options Dialog, that makes v0.07.2.

Available for download (the usual download link) but the webpage is not updated.
