As far as I know, Z600 is pretty much T610 in another shell, with another screen....

.. and a loudspeaker

Loudspeaker? Does the Z600 actually have speakerphone, or what is it you're talking about?

I would definately go for the Motorolas. The only problem is the buggy software! Maybe it is motorola australia for selling sub-par versions of phones but i would have stability problems with my v60, 70, 8088 etc.

That said, i prefer their speakers. imho people on the phone sound a lot clearer and more natural. id ont know - i guess it is personal preference.

another thing which motorolas have which no other phone manufacturer has are audible call times. here in australia phone companies have promotions where you can call people for free for the first 20 minutes etc, motorola has the ability to beep at a specific time to remind you that you'd never ever go over. definately a good thing. i am still waiting for se to do something like that

still waiting for the motorola v600s to be released out here. im not holding my breath - voda have had problems trying to sell the motorola v525 because of supplier issues... grr...

oh well i have to stick with my t610. not that i have a problem with that of course. actually that might be a good thing - i might save money for once

Nope. Z600 has all the equiment necessary to do speakerphone, but they just probably didn't think about it when they wrote the software.

I have had lots of software issues with my Z600 (lock-ups etc) but they want me to send it in 5 times before they will replace it. Does anyone know if the warranty allows them to do this, or should they replace faulty phones immediately.
