@fijbert

I totally agree about the PS2. it is totally illogical for someone to do that unless he wants to show off how much he can afford.

I AGREE wih Mixin...why would someone spend that much money for a phone that is Identical to the P800??? and dont tell me that i am jealous because of the price you are paying for the P9...I too paid LOTS of money to get my P800 back in Jan...I wont do the same mistake. But hey, if anyone can find me a new Moto V600 for that price , i will happily buy it
But as i said before, everyone's got its drug
Not trying to get into a fight, but i think FIJBERT is right. At first i thought this was BengalBoy trying to show off who knows!!??!?!

(@ Filb…or whomever) - I guess you didn't read what I originally posted and the statement as to why I said I was posting it.. With that said I am not hearing any one on this board posting that it's impossible to get a P900 now anymore.. So my point was addressed. So what is the point of your comment in regards to the explanation that I started with this thread? If you own a P800 how much did you pay for it and how much do you really think it cost the S.E. to manufacture it? Think you over paid now??? I'm not sure what the social and economical background of the group around here is, but it's very apparent that many members on here don't know a thing about businesses.

- I paid $58 USD each for (12) 128mb Stick Duos and several members (in the UK) on here have stated paying $130 USD for those same sticks. I didn’t think those members were dumb for paying that much. I understood it was a matter of the market from which they were purchasing the sticks from. With that said if you read through every post on this thread some members continue to insinuate and make ignorant comments because they are either dumb, jealous, illiterate or whatever. To make a comment that the P900 I am purchasing is “illegal” you are either an idiot or a bigger idiot then I think. If you are not buying a P900 from your specific market then don’t bother posting in this thread. It is pointless and baseless to argue the price if you have to purchase yours outside of your country. I flew to Amsterdam to buy my P800 months ago. I paid a lot for it non-contract/unlocked and it cost me money. I know some that paid $2000 for it back then because they purchased it from a store in the US who understood that not many people would fly out of the country to buy the phone therefore they can capitalize on profits from the supply and demand of the phone in the US.

Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion. But when one challenges another member please understand the argument first and back up your comments with facts. It really makes one look stupid and ignorant. I can’t believe there could be that many idiots on this board who can read, but can't comprehend.

@Jenbendau - There's a reason why the P900 was released... I'm not sure if you've read the specs, but there are actual improvements which everyone wishes the P800 would have had to start. It doesn't make sense for members to say its an identical phone... Many members here have purchased a T68 and T68i... I did it because the T68 didn't have MMS at the time. Same suit and logic follows for why one would want to upgrade from the P800 to the P900... So if I make referrences of items I have paid cost dollars for is to prove that if its not available then you have to shell out extra bucks for it.

Those PS2 comments were kinda silly. I still have my original Jap PS2 as well as 2 other US PS2 which I paid a 1/3rd of the price for. The US units were released before the EU countries. However, I know several Brits that purchased PS2s from the states for double the price because they didn't want to have to wait. So how is it showing off if you would want to have it now then later??

It's now 8:30am.... So not yet unfortunately. According to the UPS airbill tracking system it is in transit to be delivered today. I used lived in the NY area, but I'm sure some people in the Northeast area could have walked in (taken a bus, driven) and purchased one already.

I think what JB means by saying identical, is that they are too similar.
personally i would have thought the p900 should be called the p800i cos there isnt THAT many changes!

That's true... But then the P800 will be obsolete fairly soon.. Do you agree?? I'm sure a lot of people feel cheated after having just purchased a P800 and to be told that they won't be manufactured anymore in the next few months because all resources will go to the P900.

Again 9 months is a long enough life for my P800.. Time to move on.
